Our story begins on the twilight shores of Lake Superior, which some might call heaven on earth. On a cool and crisp Memorial Day Weekend in 2019, several friends trekked to Duluth, MN for a weekend of fun-tivities (aka drinking, hiking, eating good food, and getting into a wee bit of trouble). With arms wide open, the crew set out to explore the wide variety of bars that Duluth has to offer. As the weekend went on, the one and only Steve Wood took us higher and made it his mission to take over the TouchTunes at each bar so he could play at least one, if not several, Creed (yes that Creed) songs. Many have speculated about the origins of his out-sized appreciation for Creed, yet no one knows with 100% certainty. What we do know, is that Club One Under has never been the same.

Did he make new friends that night? Probably not.
Did his friends love his undying commitment to playing Creed? They were at least entertained by it. Jury’s still out on if any of them actually like Creed.
Has this night of rocking out to Creed gone down in friend group lore? Hell yes.
But the most important question of all is this: Did listening to too many Creed songs lead to the temporary theft of a memorable piece of artwork? Perhaps the man said “hold me now” to Steve, so he had no choice but to oblige.
